Preparation, planning, and implementation in the field of trade fair management

The German Diabetes Society (DDG) is one of the largest medical-scientific professional associations in Germany. Its mission encompasses the research, treatment, and prevention of diabetes – a commitment it highlights, among other ways, through two major annual events: the Diabetes Congress in Berlin and the Autumn Diabetes Conference, which is held in different cities on a rotating basis.

On several occasions, we have had the privilege of supporting a long-standing client from the pharmaceutical sector with the comprehensive organization of these congresses. Our range of services extended well beyond mere booth design; we took charge of end-to-end event and trade fair management, ensuring a seamless process before, during, and after each event.

From strategic preparation and logistical planning to operational implementation:

  • We conceived and designed the exhibition booth, including spatial planning, branding, and visitor flow management.
  • We coordinated the participants for the accompanying DDG symposium, handling everything from invitation management to onboarding.
  • We developed and produced all printed materials – ranging from traditional invitations and promotional postcards to large-format banners.
  • We organized on-site personnel, including hostesses and booth staff, ensuring professional care for all guests.
  • We planned and managed interactive booth activities that actively engaged both industry professionals and general visitors, while ensuring high visibility.

This multifaceted assignment was a perfect fit for our team: it required not only organizational talent and creative ideas, but also a deep understanding of medical content, how to engage target audiences, and the dynamics of an event. Over the course of several years, we have worked with great dedication and enthusiasm to ensure that our clients were not merely present at the DDG congresses, but were also highly visible, relevant, and represented in a professional manner.
